Dora's Deli and Mini Mart is opening on 3rd Street in the former Short Stop location. The estimated opening date is mid-March.

Someone's in the Kitchen is now serving breakfast six days a week.

Olive Marketplace & Cafe has opened in the space previously occupied by
Merchants LTD. Olive is owned and operated by Tom Maccarone and Jake Crenshaw, co-owners of
T. Maccarone's.

Walla Walla Wine Works has started the Wednesday Night Music Series, promising local, live music every Wednesday from 7-9 pm with no cover charge.
Nov 18, 2009 — The
Graze Eatery is now open for business on Colville Street across from Macy's. They serve salad, soup, and sandwiches and are open for lunch.
Nov 9, 2009 — The Cigar Box Guitar Fest took place —
here's what happened.
Nov 3, 2009 — Cigar Box Guitar Fest in Walla Walla, November 7th. The event starts at Morrison Lane Vineyard at 4pm and is a progressive concert, moving between the three venues. Tickets are $15 and available at Sapolil Cellars, Walla Walla Village Winery and Morrison Lane Vineyard.
The headliners will be Gerry Thompson from New Jersey, Rollie Tussing from Portland, and John McColley, also of Portland. Local musicians will also be playing.
Oct 28, 2009 — Eleven local innkeepers have formed the
Walla Walla Bed & Breakfast Inns Association to promote Walla Walla's small inns and bed and breakfasts.

Red Monkey Downtown Lounge is now open. They are located at 25 West Alder Street.
Sept 25, 2009 — Whitman Mission, just outside Walla Walla, is going to get the
Ken Burns treatment. If his past work is any indication, it should be great! "Tails & Trails: National Parks in the Northwest" will premiere Saturday, Sept., 26, 8 p.m. on KTNW. Repeat airings will be Sunday, Oct., 27, 7 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 3, 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 4, 1 p.m.
Sept 24, 2009 —
Caravaggio at the Walla Walla Regional Airport re-opens for lunch and weekend breakfast.
Sept 1, 2009 —
Pita Pit is now open in the former Luscious by Nature space across from the
Colville Street Patisserie.
Aug 29, 2009 — The
Walla Walla County Fair begins September 2 and is open through September 6.
